Solar Eclipse
03:25 31/5/2003 UTC
This image was taken before the maximum of the eclipse. The image features also a sunspot, active region NOAA10373. Because the Baader Astrosolar film causes my camera to generate an ugly blue image I colored the image to make it more pleasant. I also used the green channel only from the image which gives the best results eliminating the coloring caused by short focal length achromatic lens of the telescope and I guess its the least sensitive channel to Infrared also, leading to cleaner image (Achromatic refractors bend IR way off the focal point).
