Gassendi is a beautiful sight. It has a central mountains which climbs over a 1km high. The diameter of this round formation is about 115km. This image shows also a whole Mare humorum featuring its small craterlets in its flat floor. The prominent crater in the top of the image is Mersenius. North is right in this image.
