I got a new toy from mail today, a Televue Powermate. And by some strange reason, it wasn't cloudy outside... So, I set my equipment up to test it on Sun. I managed only to get 740 images before my battery pack ran out. However it was enough to prove the power of the Powermate. It was sharp and free of any internal reflections. And in mediocre seeing, ST80 did give quite a nice image from this sunspot group with Powermate. This was captured in 320x240 mode. Can't wait to try it again, with fully loaded battery!
