The Double Cluster

The double cluster is a spectacular sight in constellation Perseus. It consists of two open clusters NGC884 and NGC869. These clusters are also very attractive sight through binoculars or small telescope. Photographically these brilliant gatherings of stars are very nice targets to wide field imaging. The challenge here is to get sharp stars with good color saturation. The clusters have mainly hot blue stars, but the field also includes few nice orange gems.
