Nebulosity around Sadr
20:09 22/8/2008 UTC
This image is centered on Sadr (Gamma Cygni) which is the center star of constellation Cygnus. There is lots of nebulosity around it. Most notable and obvious feature is IC1318, The Butterfly Nebula in the left side of the frame. IC1318 is not associated with Sadr, they just happen to be at the same direction. The nebula is believed to be at least twice as far at 3000 light years from earth. There is also a nice open cluster NGC6910 up from the Sadr.
